A Little Back Story
Farmers in Action is a non-profit organization founded by Mason Hills Farm in Grand Bay, AL. Mason Hills Farm originated from a desire to understand the origins of our food. Consequently we learned how to raise and care for the animals on the farm.

In 2022, Mason Hills Farm opened a USDA-inspected facility on the farm, allowing complete control over the process from start to finish. This capability enables them to assist other producers in adding value to their resources and aid those in need. With the new tools and capabilities available on the farm, and a strong desire to help those in need—whether they are hungry, affected by disasters, or eager to learn and serve—Mason Hills Farm and its family of companies are proud to manage and run Farmers in Action. This valuable organization will impact many people for generations to come. God has blessed us above and beyond and we will give back as the resources come.

What We Do

Given our ability to transform resources into edible products, we can prepare these products either at our facility or onsite. We not only possess the capability but also the desire to assist those who, for various reasons, cannot do so themselves. Additionally, we are passionate about educating our community, supporting small businesses and organizations, and fostering connections to farming. Our organization has responded to natural disasters in the past, donating our time and resources.

What we are Needing
Farmers in Action offers an opportunity for others to join our efforts and contribute to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It also enables other producers and organizations to give and donate while receiving tax benefits. Although it is challenging for us to ask for anything, as many farmers prefer to handle matters independently, our collective efforts can make a significant impact.
